Arrival into Rome

Day 1 is always a transition day with long travel day and time diff the brain is in a fog a bit, but the excitement of exploring Rome kept us going. All in all we made quite good use of our time and saw many of the classic historic sites of Rome on a beautiful sunny spring day. Starting with the Vatican also Pantheon, Forum, Colosseum and several amazing piazzas

This is definitely picking up where left off from Santiago – the first of what I’m quite sure will be several gelato’s!

First stamp in the credenziale from the pilgrim office at the Vatican which is the starting point.

So tomorrow the pilgrimage begins although we walked so much today I kinda felt like my feet already had day 1 in them:)
